Our Story

All about us & Our offering

At The Table we source local, seasonal produce for our menu. We support local suppliers, small-scale farmers and delis, and we buy organic as far as possible. Our menu changes weekly (or sometimes more than weekly) depending on the fresh produce available, so our set menu is always a fresh and delicious surprise for guests visiting the restaurant! We offer a set, three course, sharing style menu.

At The Table we source local, seasonal produce for our menu. We support local suppliers, small-scale farmers and delis, and we buy organic as far as possible. Our menu changes weekly (or sometimes more than weekly) depending on the fresh produce available, so our set menu is always a fresh and delicious surprise for guests visiting the restaurant! We offer a set, three course, sharing style menu. On week days, we also offer a lighter option- a platter of breads, olives, pickles, cheeses and preserves and a fresh salad.

We are open for lunch on Wednesday to Sunday (October – April) and Thursday to Sundays (May – September) 12pm to 5pm, and are also available to host weekday functions by special arrangement.

Costing per person

Our set menu is currently priced at R395 for 3 courses. A discretionary 12% service fee will be added to tables greater than 8. Bookings of 6 people or more are subject to a deposit for confirmation. Cancellations less than 48 hours before the confirmed time of the booking are subject to forfeiture of the deposit. (Please note that the price of our set menu has increased as of 1st November 2019).

Dietary Requirements

Our set menu is based on what is available and in season. Most dishes are served on large sharing platters in the centre of the table. We are happy to accommodate dietary requirements, as long as this is arranged prior to the day so that we can prepare accordingly. We will prepare an additional vegetable based dish in place of the meat dish for vegetarians as our main course sides are mostly vegetarian. Vegans will also be given special consideration. Gluten intolerant guests – we will do our best to provide wheat free options where possible however cannot guarantee that every dish will be 100% wheat/gluten free as we do use products containing gluten in our kitchen.

This includes a kiddie friendly meal followed by an ice cream cone. Please be advised that this is a working farm and that you should keep an eye on small people at all times.
